Learn how to paint all types of different landscapes and water scenes in the acrylics medium! Tutuored by the talented and experienced artist Tony Homer. £17 for one session or £60 for a block of 4.
The workshop is on every Friday. 10.30am – 12.30pm. You will be able to join the workshop whenever you wish unless it is full.
You do not need to bring any materials to your first session, unless you already have acrylic paints and brushes. If you also have any sort of thick cartridge paper or watercolour paper do bring that too, but Tony will have some available if you are not sure. You may also like to bring some images you would like to work with.
Tony Homer studied painting at Art College, completed a PGCE in art education at Birmingham College of Art. He worked as a professional artist for 2 years before starting to teach art and design in London. In 1986 he moved to Teignmouth after being appointed to Ashburton school as Head of art. He has worked in three Devon schools and retired in 2015 to continue his own practice. He has had many exhibitions locally and loves sketching Devon and the local area particularly the river Teign from many viewpoints.
